Scholarship Eligibility
In order to be considered for this scholarship, applicants must meet
the following criteria:
Be a United States citizen or permanent resident
Be a currently enrolled in or entering a 2 or 4 year undergraduate college
Be in good academic standing
Be a California resident
Applicant Procedure
Mail the following materials to the offices of Dowd and Guild Inc.

Application
A personal essay
An official high school or college transcript
Selection Criteria
Scholarship recipients are selected by the Dowd and Guild Inc. Scholarship
Committee on a competitive basis. Factors considered in the selection
process include, but are not limited to the following:
Commitment to their educational goals
Educational performance documented by a high school/college transcript
Commitment to the community demonstrated through involvement in volunteer activities
Participation in school leadership and extracurricular activities
Demonstrated financial need
Personal essay assessment
