	Dowd and Guild Inc. Hires a New Account Manager Effective January 9, 2012 Jorge Seuc joined Dowd and Guild Inc. as an Account Manager covering Los Angeles and the San Joaquin Valley. Jorge comes to Dowd and Guild Inc. with significant experience selling to the Coatings, Construction and Ink markets in Southern California. Prior to being hired by Dowd and Guild Inc., Jorge was a Technical Sales Representative at EPS-Materials in Los Angeles for 8 years, he also worked at Sun Chemical Corporation for over 20 years as a Sales Manager for the West Coast, Mexico and Latin America. Dowd and Guild Inc. is very excited to have an Account Manager with Jorge's experience servicing our customers. He will be based out of our Cerritos Sales Office.
	Burgess Pigment Company Appoints Dowd and Guild Inc. Effective January 1, 2012, Dowd and Guild Inc. will be the Western region distribution partner for Burgess Pigment Company covering the states of CA, AZ, UT, CO, and NV. Burgess Pigment Company is a leading producer of kaolin clay located in Sandersville, Georgia. Dowd and Guild Inc. will support the Burgess Pigment Company trade names Iceberg, Icecap K, Optiwhite, Optipozz and Burgess No. 10, 20, 28, 60, 98 as well as Thermo Glace H.
	LANXESS Expands Distributor Network for Bayferrox Inorganic Pigments in North America Dowd and Guild Inc. will take over additional responsibility for inorganic pigment sales in the Pacific Northwest region to include Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana and Wyoming, beginning January 1, 2012; which is an expansion of their current territory. In addition to Bayferrox Iron Oxide pigments, Dowd and Guild Inc., will also distribute Lanxess' Colortherm portfolio, heat-stable pigments tailor made for the plastics industry.
	Cytec Polymer Additives announces Dowd and Guild Inc. Territory expansion into Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma and New Mexico Cytec Polymer Additives has increased Dowd and Guild Inc's distribution territory to include the states of Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma and New Mexico. Representing Cytec Polymer Additives expands our product portfolio in this growing region for Dowd and Guild Inc.
	Momentive Performance Materials announces Dowd and Guild Inc. Territory Expansion into the Pacific Northwest Momentive Performance Materials proudly announced that Dowd and Guild Inc. is the exclusive distributor for Silanes and High Heat Resins in the Pacific Northwest. The expansion allows for these products to be sold in Washington, Oregon, Nevada and Utah.
	Steve O'Donnel named 1st ever Salesman of the Year for Lanxess For the first time in Lanxess's history, Lanxess Inorganic Pigments Division has named a distributor salesperson of the year. Dowd and Guild Inc. is very proud to announce that Steve O'Donnell, senior account manager in Southern California has been awarded this honor for the year 2011. Steve's commitment to both his customer Lanxess and Dowd and Guild Inc. is extraordinary. We congratulate Steve on this significant accomplishment.
	Dowd and Guild Inc. Receives Kelly Moore 2010 Partnership Award Dowd and Guild Inc. received the prestigious Partnership Award for outstanding service and commitment to Kelly Moore. Kelly Moore President, CEO and Chairman of the Board, Steve DeVoe presented Tom Dowd, Howard Guild, Tina Onderbeke and Pat Kelly with the award at the annual holiday luncheon.
	Dowd and Guild Inc. Awards 100th Student Scholarship Dowd and Guild recently awarded it’s 100th Scholarship, bringing the total Scholarship awards to over $100,000 since the beginning of the program in 1998. The company believes that the private sector has a responsibility to assist students in need and that Dowd and Guild Scholarship serves as a example to inspire other private businesses to develop their own scholarship programs. The most recent scholarship was awarded to a local mother of two who is striving to gain a degree in surgical technology and work with children and the elderly.
