Founded in 1986 in Northern California by Tom Dowd and Howard Guild, Dowd and Guild Inc. covers the 11 states west of the Rocky Mountains and we recently expanded into the South Western states of Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana and Arkansas. We are headquartered in San Ramon, California with a sales office in Cerritos, California. By utilizing public warehouses in the region, we provide efficient and expedient service to our customers. Dowd and Guild Inc. is well positioned to support the paint and coatings, inks, adhesives, composites, building products, plastics and related specialty chemical industries. We buy and resell products or act as a sales agent for our suppliers. You will find our sales, customer service and administrative staff to be experienced, knowledgeable and solution oriented.

We are actively seeking acquisitions of other chemical and container distributors or sales agencies in the Western United States. In addition, we are always looking for professional, experienced salespeople interested in a career with a rapidly growing company. 	Tom Dowd - Owner, Founder and CEO Tom has over 35 years of sales, marketing, and management experience in the chemical distribution business. He graduated from Santa Clara University in 1970 with a degree in Business Management, and in 1973 with a Masters in Business Administration. Tom and his wife Josie live in Alamo, California and have three children and six grandchildren. Tom is the Chair and Founder of the Keiretsu Charitable Foundation. He enjoys spending time with his family as well as boating, skiing and golf.
	Howard Guild - Owner, Founder and President Howard has 30 years of sales, marketing, and management experience in the chemical distribution business. He graduated from the University of Illinois with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management. Howard and his wife Judy live in Alamo, California. They are actively involved with the NORCAL Golden Retriever Rescue organization. Howard enjoys boating, skiing and golf.
	Tina Onderbeke - Executive Vice President Tina joined Dowd and Guild Inc. in 1986 as Office Manager, responsible for Inside/Outside Sales and operations. In 1996, she was promoted to VP of Administration and became Executive Vice President in May of 2007. Tina attended Ohlone and Chabot Colleges, studying general education and business. Tina has over 28 years of experience in sales and administrative management in the chemical distribution industry. Tina and Clint, her husband of 28 years live in Pleasanton, California.
	Patrick Kelly - Vice President - Commercial Development Patrick is Vice President of Commercial Development. He is an account manager for key accounts in Northern and Southern California. He also has responsibility for Principal Management and Principal Recruitment. Pat has a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Miami University, Oxford, Ohio. Pat came to Dowd and Guild Inc. with a strong sales and commercial background. Pat lives in Danville, California with his wife, Lynda, and their three children.
	Tim Fetters - Vice President - Commercial Development Tim is Vice President of Commercial Development. He has responsibility for Account Management as well as managing key suppliers for Dowd and Guild Inc. in Southern California. Tim graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. He is an experienced executive whose career spans sales, operations and executive management in the chemicals and plastics industry. He lives in Ladera Ranch, California with his wife, Carissa, and their two children.
	Steve O’Donnell - Account Manager Steve is responsible for accounts in Southern California and Arizona. He has been with Dowd and Guild Inc. for 17 years and formerly ran his own distribution business which he sold to Dowd and Guild Inc. Steve is a graduate from the University of Notre Dame with a Liberal Arts degree. He lives in Placentia, California with his wife, Donna.
	Nick Motto - Account Manager Nick is responsible for covering all accounts in the Pacific Northwest and some select accounts in Northern California. Nick has built a strong following with his Pacific Northwest customers and is active in the PNWSCT. Nick graduated from the University of St. Thomas, Houston, Texas in 1985 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration. Nick and his wife, Gail, live in Elk Grove, California with their three children.
	Ray Hurst - Account Manager Ray is responsible for accounts in Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Arkansas, Utah and Colorado. Ray started his career in the chemical industry with Nalco in 1987. In 1988, he joined Arizona Chemical and worked there for 6 years. He later joined a regional distributor and was their Business Manager for the Southwest Region from 1996 – 2010. Ray lives in Flower Mound, Texas (outside of Dallas) with his wife of 32 years, Suzy.
	Jorge Seuc - Account Manager Jorge is responsible for accounts in Southern California and the San Joaquin Valley. Jorge came to Dowd and Guild Inc. from EPS Material where he was a Regional Sales Manager. Prior to that, he worked at Sun Chemical Corporation for over 20 years as a Regional Sales Manager for the West Coast, Mexico, and Latin America. Jorge graduated with a B.A. in Spanish, Minor in Business Administration from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. Jorge and his wife, Emma reside in Mission Viejo, California, have 3 grown children and a granddaughter. Jorge enjoys golf and international travel
	Elizabeth Rhinehart - Inside Sales Elizabeth is responsible for Inside Sales in San Ramon. In this role, she is responsible for handling new customer inquiries and price quotes. Prior to being promoted to inside sales, she worked as a customer service representative for five years at Dowd and Guild Inc. Elizabeth has a Bachelor of Science degree, Education Major, University of Pittsburgh.
	Dick Wildman - Inside Sales Dick is responsible for Inside Sales and Special Projects in San Ramon. In this role, he is responsible for handling all aspects of sales to house accounts, financial analysis, inventory management, marketing and project management. He graduated from St. Mary’s College with an Masters of Arts degree in Business Administration and University of California Davis with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics. Dick and his wife, Vicki, live in Alamo, CA.
